Heard your ConnectiCare Medicare plan may not continue for 2027?

If you are a Connecticut Medicare beneficiary with questions about reported plan changes, here is plain-language guidance. This is educational — not a promise to enroll you in any plan, and not a pitch for a specific 2027 product.

What public reports say

Public reporting and broker notifications indicate that ConnectiCare’s parent (Molina Healthcare) plans to discontinue certain Connecticut Medicare Advantage plans that include Part D prescription coverage for the 2027 plan year. Until you receive an official nonrenewal notice (or confirm on Medicare.gov), treat that as educational context — not a CMS-confirmed personal notice.

Nonrenewal notices for exiting plans are typically due by early October. Watch for your mail. Do not assume you “already got it.”

What this usually means

We are not marketing specific 2027 plan premiums, benefits, or networks on this page (pre–October 1 educational period).

What to do before you enroll in anything

  1. Watch for your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) and, if applicable, a nonrenewal / plan-exit letter.
  2. Write down your doctors, hospitals, and current prescriptions (for your own comparison — we do not promise you can “keep all doctors/drugs”).
  3. Compare options on Medicare.gov, call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), or contact Connecticut’s free SHIP counseling program for unbiased help.
  4. If you want licensed-agent help reviewing plans available in your ZIP, request a callback below. No obligation. We will not enroll you without your consent and required permissions (including a Scope of Appointment before discussing Medicare Advantage products).

Other Connecticut plan news

Some local reports have also mentioned other carriers (for example CarePartners of Connecticut) potentially reducing Medicare Advantage offerings in Connecticut for 2027. That is not verified here for ads or as a personal claim about your coverage. Confirm with your plan materials and Medicare.gov. We do not imply a national Wellcare exit.

Request a no-pressure callback
